When Bhima killed Dushasana, and Draupadi washed her hair with his blood, blood dripped from Duryodhana’s eyes, he didn’t even flinch. He ordered Karna to finish Arjuna, and then Karna, jumping in front of Arjuna, and a fierce battle ensued between them.
The battle was so fierce that Sri Krishna had to caution Arjuna many times because Arjuna would get confused seeing Karna’s valor. Arjuna’s chariot bore Hanuman’s flag, which protected him in the battle. However, in this battle, even Hanuman Ji struggled to save Arjuna’s chariot from destruction, and even Lord Vasudeva Sri Krishna couldn’t help but admire Karna’s martial skills.
Arjuna, claiming to be the best archer in the world, felt as if Arjuna himself was an ordinary archer. As the evening approached, Arjuna became exhausted, and then Karna attempted to release the Brahmastra, which could have ended Arjuna’s life in an instant, but then Sri Krishna, with the help of his Sudarshana Chakra, set the sun prematurely, saving Arjuna’s life.
However, before the Mahabharata war began, all the rules had been broken, so who cared about the sunset? But Karna wanted to kill Arjuna according to the rules and prove his superiority, so he turned his chariot towards Shivir.
On the seventeenth day of the war, the same story began again. Karna struck Arjuna in such a way that he became dizzy, in this condition, Karna shot the Nagapasha (which Indrajit had shot at Lord Rama and Laxman). But Krishna, with the help of his vehicle Garuda, diverted its aim, and it hit Arjuna’s chest. For the first time in the battle, Arjuna fell off his chariot, and he was almost unconscious, yet Karna could have easily killed him, but then he showed honesty.
At that time, Karna was under three curses, first, a curse on killing cows, that when he would be most vulnerable, he would die, the second, his chariot sank into the ground due to the curse of the earth goddess, and Arjuna fell from the chariot, seeing him try to get his wheel out, but until then Arjuna had climbed onto Karna’s chariot and shot an arrow at him at Krishna’s behest, and Karna, wanting to fight according to the rules of Karna’s war, tried to shoot his weapons, but he too had forgotten due to Parashurama’s curse.
Instead of fighting according to the rules of Karna’s war, Arjuna, in return for fighting, tried to remove the wheels of his chariot while standing outside his chariot, and in the unarmed state, he killed Karna.
Karna falsely claimed to be a Brahmin to Parashurama, so he cursed him, that when he finds out the truth, he will forget all his knowledge.
In his youth, Karna unknowingly killed a cow and a bull, and in return, a Brahmin cursed him that when he would be most helpless, only then would he die. As soon as the Brahmin heard about Karna’s intention to clean up before hearing the whole thing, he cursed him that when you will be most helpless, then only will you die. Not only that, while helping a little girl, Karna had touched the soil, for which the earth goddess cursed him that he would get stuck in the battle at the right time. It was because of these curses that the end of the supreme warrior Karna came, and his body was cremated by Lord Krishna.
