👉 Understanding the essence of “Dharma” can lead to the knowledge of “The Art of Living.” A life imbued with righteousness is a life devoted to Dharma. Striving dutifully towards ideals and human values is what falls under the realm of “Dharma.” Enlightening every individual about the essence of “Dharma” is the true essence of spirituality.
👉 The realization of “Dharma” lies in embracing virtuous qualities in one’s life, in internalizing and reflecting them in one’s conduct. This is termed as “The Art of Living.” It is essential to continuously contemplate and introspect about one’s duties, responsibilities, truth, and consciousness for self-awareness and self-improvement. Efforts should be made to acquire knowledge about self-realization and the welfare of society.
👉 Self-study is considered instrumental in physical and spiritual progress, but its significance lies in the practical application of the knowledge gained in everyday life. If this integration fails, the benefits of self-study cannot be realized. Hence, a process of reflection and contemplation is necessary to internalize inspiring thoughts and manifest them in behavior.
👉 By enhancing our worldly knowledge through material education, we can sharpen our intellect, skills, personality, and craftsmanship. Achieving success, wealth, personality, art, and skills are all based on this worldly knowledge, also known as education. Education provides worldly knowledge and reaches up to the depths of the mind, beyond which lies the inner self. This knowledge is termed as “Vidya,” and its acquisition is through study and association with the learned.
👉 To benefit from the capable knowledge that penetrates the depths of the mind, it is imperative to have an ideal in front of us. This ideal can be based on acquired knowledge through study or on an enlightened being who has internalized this knowledge and manifested it in their life. Without a foundation, knowledge remains superficial and fails to fulfill its purpose. True self-awareness cannot remain merely theoretical; its reach extends deep into the psyche and cannot be achieved without illuminating one’s life.
