Justice of God || ईश्वर का न्याय

Justice of God

One day, a sage set out on a journey with his disciple. The sage preferred not to engage in idle chatter, and he valued silence and the peaceful performance of his duties. However, the disciple was quite restless. He always found himself distracted and enjoyed engaging in conversations with others.

As they were walking along the road, they passed by a pond and noticed a fisherman laying nets in the river.

The disciple, seeing this, stood still and started lecturing the fisherman about the importance of non-violence.

But the fisherman wasn’t interested in understanding. At first, he tried to ignore the disciple, but when the argument escalated, a quarrel began between the disciple and the fisherman.

Seeing this quarrel, the sage, who was far ahead, returned and asked the disciple to come along with him, taking him by the hand.

The sage said to his disciple, “Son, our duty as monks is only to preach. But God has not sent us to earth to punish others!”

The disciple asked, “Maharaj, neither do many punishments seem to affect him, nor do the kings of our kingdom punish many. So who will punish him in the end?”

Responding to the disciple’s question, the sage said, “Son! Rest assured, there is a divine power in this world that administers justice everywhere… God’s sight is everywhere, and He reaches everywhere.”

So, you go now. It would be wrong to get involved in this dispute, so stay away from it..!

Hearing the words of the sage, the disciple became content and walked away with him.

It was just two years later that one day, the sage and the disciple both passed by the same pond. The disciple had now forgotten the incident of the fisherman from two years ago.

They saw a snake in great distress near the pond, being bitten by thousands of ants.

The disciple couldn’t bear to see this scene, and his heart melted with compassion.

He was about to go to save the snake from the ants when the sage held his hand and stopped him, saying, “Son! Let it suffer the consequences of its actions..”

“If you try to save it now, it will have to endure this suffering again in another life because the consequences of actions must be faced.”

The disciple asked the sage, “Gurudev, what karma has it done to be stuck in this situation?”

The sage said, “This is the same fisherman to whom you were giving advice not to catch fish at this very spot two years ago, and he was about to fight you.”

“These ants are the fish that are biting him now.”

Hearing this, the disciple was amazed and said, “Gurudev, this is indeed a strange justice.”

The guru said, “Son! All the scenes of heaven and hell are present in this world. Every moment, you can witness examples of God’s justice.”

“Whether your actions are good or bad, you must face their consequences. Remember what you have done, for you will have to experience it there.”

“Life is precious, so don’t waste it by going astray with bad deeds. Always strive to increase the good deeds in your account, because the result of your good deeds will bring you great joy.”

Similarly, the reverse is also true; you will have to endure the consequences of your bad deeds one day. So focus on your actions because God always administers justice.”

The disciple had understood the sage’s words clearly…

Friends, whether we believe in this or not, it is 100% true that God always administers justice.

And the direct relationship of their justice with us is through our own actions. If we have done many good deeds in our lives or are doing good deeds, then according to that, God will treat us with justice.

We have been given this life so that we can do some deeds that even make love overflow in the eyes of God when He sees them!
