This is how our personality is formed

👉 “Action is tangible, and “knowledge” is subtle. By delving deep into the contemplation of principles without limiting ourselves to mere action, we find peace and satisfaction. Beyond this, there is a layer even deeper, known as the “inner self.” Here, beliefs reside. In the core, deep-rooted beliefs about relationships—between likes and dislikes, right and wrong, habits and conventions, perspectives, and ideologies—form intricate connections. The entire framework of “personality” is constructed here. The mind and body are given roles, whether futile or rewarding. Both serve faithfully like dedicated servants. They have no power to disobey. Beliefs provide inspiration, and with that fuel, when life’s scooter is pushed, both wheels—contemplation and action—start running. What is “personality”? It is “faith.” What is a human? It is “devotion.” What are “efforts”? They are the echoes of “aspirations.” Qualities, actions, and nature are neither created nor destroyed on their own. When beliefs mature and become habits, they are called “nature.” Practices are termed as “qualities.” The effort required to fulfill aspirations through the coordinated effort of body and mind is called “action.” Understanding these facts makes it clear that the experience of joys and sorrows that occur at the level of personality and the reactions to them continue to happen in daily life. Happiness and agitation are connected to the ups and downs of circumstances, but truly, refined and unaffected by mental conditions, these experiences are filled by events that regularly occur in ordinary life. No event is inherently “important” or “insignificant.” Everything is navigating its own course. Like the cycle of seasons—winter and summer, the sequence of emotions and absence, the cycle of birth and death, and the cycle of loss and gain continue to unfold. The level of our contemplation sometimes experiences joy and sometimes becomes disturbed. In experiences, it’s not the circumstances but the role of the state of mind that plays a role.”
