👉 The process of rising towards “greatness” and falling towards “inferiority” is a phenomenon that people experience by adopting it, leading some to rise high while others fall low. What this process entails is the “internal struggle between divine and demonic forces”. Within the human heart lie tendencies of both divine and demonic nature. Those individuals who, through their efforts and endeavors, suppress demonic tendencies and cultivate divine qualities, become nourished and empowered, thereby rising towards greatness. Conversely, those who succumb to negligence see their demonic tendencies strengthen, leading them towards downfall. Individuals influenced by such demonic forces plummet into the abyss of ruin.
👉 The ascent towards divinity is greatness, while the dominance of demonic traits is downfall. A saint or a social worker who possesses neither wealth nor power, yet is revered for their service, compassion, love, and empathy, is truly great. On the other hand, despite achieving great victories, establishing empires, holding political power, and amassing wealth and authority, those who engage in oppression, injustice, and exploitation are ultimately doomed. Greatness or inferiority lies not in one’s external circumstances but resides within their internal virtues and vices.
👉 The genesis of greatness lies within, not without. Without fortifying the internal, one cannot truly achieve greatness. If an individual, through sheer coincidence, cleverness, or circumstances, manages to attain high status and prestige, but their internal weaknesses remain unchecked, they will eventually collapse into the pit of failure. Their internal distortions entangle them in a web of mediocrity, leading to their swift downfall.
👉 The foundation of greatness lies within, not without. The true fruits of greatness are those that grow on the internal branch. If the internal branch is not strong and suitable, the fruits of greatness that are bound to it will surely perish, destroying not only the fruits themselves but also the existence of the individual, just as the weak branch of a tree ruptures under the weight of fruits, quickly turning into fuel and burning away.
