God Becomes Happy Only By Serving Helpless And Needy Humans!! 👌👌✍️👌👌
Once, a cobbler was given a dream by God, saying, “I will come to meet you tomorrow morning at your shop.” The cobbler’s shop was quite small, and his income was also limited. Even though his utensils for eating were few, he was content with his life. He was a true, honest, and compassionate person. Therefore, God decided to test him.
The cobbler started preparing as soon as he woke up in the morning. He brought milk, tea leaves, and sweets to serve tea to God. He cleaned the shop and started waiting for God. It was raining heavily that day. After a while, he saw a sweeper shivering in the rain. Feeling compassion, the cobbler made tea for him using the milk brought for God.
The day went by. At noon, a woman came with a child and said, “My child is hungry, and I need milk for him.” The cobbler gave all his milk to the child to drink. This way, the evening approached, and the cobbler anxiously awaited God’s arrival.
Just then, an old man, who was barely able to walk, came and said, “I am hungry, and if I could get something to eat, it would be very kind of you.” Understanding his helplessness, the cobbler gave him the sweets. Thus, the day passed, and it became night.
As soon as it was night, the cobbler’s patience broke, and he exclaimed to God, “Oh God!! I have spent the whole day waiting for you, but you did not come even after promising. Was I only found to be made a fool of by the poor?”
Then came a divine voice, and God said, “I came to you not once today, but thrice, and all three times, I was very pleased with your service. You have also passed my test because your heart is filled with compassion and selflessness beyond the limits of ordinary humans.”
👉From this story, we learn that we should help anyone in need or distress because scriptures say, ‘serving humanity is serving God,’ and those who hope for help, the needy and helpless, are like God on Earth. Serving them brings a sense of tranquility and a unique satisfaction.
